Last year saw the world recovering from a pandemic, and design trends favored comfortable nostalgia and colorful expression. Much of that optimism remains in 2023, but it has been strained through this year’s rising inflation around the world, the ever advancing climate crisis and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, — 99Designs

THIS YEAR... WE SEE RED!
This is all about being extravagant and elegant, putting on a strong-red lipstick with a glamorous dress. "An unconventional shade for an unconventional time", a chic and choc magenta that takes us out of our comfort zone. The rebellious red for the drive and the raspberry pink for the dramatic sweetness.

THIS YEAR... WE RELEASE ELECTRIC TONES!
Meanwhile purple tones are facing the surface again, vintage colorful shades or even contemporary racy contrasts are back too! All the colorful vibes and electric jam of blues and yellows and reds all very saturated are reviving, giving the space a high vibration. The eyes stay wild open and the mind fulfilled with joy and tenacity, like a punch of energy. It gives the space another look, another jam. Looks like we could "pump the jam" here.

THIS YEAR... WE FOCUS ON BOTANICAL NOSTALGIA!
Flowers, plants, gardens and fruits make the team! Lots of pulpy colors with nature patterns, creamy textures and incongruous complexity: this is the beauty! Bold innovations and transgressions: bulky and groovy typography of the 7Os with vibrant compositions.

THIS YEAR... WE BET ON EXTRAVAGANT PARAMETRIC!
We talk about complex patterns with modern curves and irregularities, a game of perspective and proportion, varieties of volume and depth. The result shows unique and futuristic patterns, calming, with an ecstatic effect.

THIS YEAR... WE HIT THE SPACE!
With curvy, organic and smooth designs the modern minimalism it's light and delicate. There are freedom of creating what our minds imagine, giving our feelings a soul, a body, giving birth of a new dimension; forms that don't fit because they are too divergent, too different.
Cyryl Zakrzewski
This world of modernism invades us not only by its technology, but also by its ideals which construct it, the dimensions which are expanding or even the world which in itself is no longer enough; we need less and this new concept of modern reminds us exactly that "less is more": simple and aesthetic.

This year is about finding freedom and eerie, experimental or whimsical worlds: a square of design chaos about both minimalism and futurism.
